DAY 1 : FLIGHT FRANCE DELHI
Flight to Delhi. You will be greeted on arrival by one of our representatives and then transferred to your hotel.

🍽 Meals : Breakfast/lunch/dinner. ⛰ Altitude : 234 m.

DAY 2 : DELHI – LEH.
Morning flight for Leh from Delhi. On arrival at Leh you will be greeted by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization. This is very necessary for getting acclimatized at high altitude. Evening one can visit market of Leh.

DAY 3 LEH – SHEY – THIKSAY -HEMIS – LEH.
Visit of ancient monasteries of Indus valley. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery in Ladakh. It was founded in 1633 by the king Singay Namgyal and Lama Staktsang Raspa of Bhutan.Hemis belongs to the Drukpa Kagyu order. Thiksey is one of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, it is known as ‘the mini Potala’. It belongs to the Gelukpa order. The monastery was founded by Lama Paldan Sheyrab the nephew of Sheyrab Zangpo in mid-15th century.
Shey used to be the ancient capital of Ladakh. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of the 17th century. Its 12m Buddha statue made of copper guilt was built by King Deldan Namgyal in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal.

DAY 4 LEH – SPITUK – ALCHI – ZINGCHEN.
Start from Spituk monastery then to Alchi, lunch in Alchi /visit the monastery and drive back to Zingchen where you meet with your trekking staffs.
The Spituk Gompa was founded in 11th century by Od-De, the elder brother of Lama Changchub-od. The Gompa was named Spituk (exemplary) by Rinchen Zangpo; a translator came to that place and said that exemplary religious community would rise. Initially the Gompa was run according to the Kadampa School until the reign of King Gragspa Bumlde converted it to Gelukpa order.

Alchi Monastery is also known by the name of Alchi Choskor. Built by great translator Rinchen Zangpo. The oldest monuments preserved here date back to the middle of the 12th century. Alchi monastery is classified World Heritage by UNESCO.

DAY 5 : ZINGCHEN – RUMBAK – YURUTSE – GANDALA BASE.
First day of trek. Enjoy the trail through Husing valley which is also the trail of snow leopard, cross several streams to reach the Rumbak village. Here you can have tea break in parachute restaurant. Gradually climb along with the stream, the path takes you to Yurutse where only one house stands surrounded with barley fields. Picnic in the family kitchen. Another hour before reaching the camping.

DAY 6 : KANDA LA BASE – KANDALA – SHINGO – SKU.
The trek up to the Kandala Pass (4900m) steady climbing, from the base camp and it will take you around two hrs. to reach the top from where you can enjoy the stunning beauty Zanskar range. Path leads down to the small village of Shingo where we stop for picnic. Another two hours of walk through a narrow gorge leading towards Sku.

DAY 7: SKU – NAKDING SARA – MARKHA.
Longest day of the Markha valley trek, an early start is advised. Follow a good path on the right bank of Markha River where one can find great vegetation. Then cross the river and pass through barren plains arriving at Nakding. Thereafter, walk along the left bank of river until another village Sara where you can have your picnic in a parachute restaurant. Big crossing and a small climb towards Markha village.

DAY 8 : MARLHA – UMLUNG – TAYCHA – HANGKAR
Visit the small monastery of Markha built in 17th century. Follow the Markha Chu one has to cross the river several times as there are no bridges here. Possibility to visit the Taycha Gompa on the hill top before Umlung village. Then carry on trekking along the left bank of the river until Hankar village. Kangyatse Peak (6400m) dominates the landscape.

DAY 9: HANGKAR – TAMACHEN – YAKRUPAL.
30 minutes’ walk from the camping small ascend lead you to upper Hankar the trail goes northwards up to the confluence of two rivers Luntang Chu and Nyimaling Chu, Cross the bridge and follow the Langtang Chu, continue in wild valley of Tamachan, change in the landscape crossing the river several time.

DAY 10: YAKRUPAL – ZALUNG KARPO LA – SOKRA.
We carry on upwards until the valley divides, follow a ridge trail leading to the Zalung Karpo la 5200m. From the top breathtaking view of the Zanskar range and Changthang plateau. The descent is steep and sleepy, then plunge into green valley used to be the pastureland of the people Kharnak. Arrival at the abundant village of Sokra.

DAY 11: SOKRA – DAT.
Last day of the trek. The path takes us through a magnificent gorge and landscape. When the valley widens again, we reach another small abundant village and a Lato. Another one hour walk to Dat. Visit of the village small monastery in which belongs to Drukpa Kagyu order and is a branch of Hemis Monastery.

DAY 12: DAT – YAR LA – TSOKAR.
After the breakfast drive towards Tsokar, pass through beautiful landscape and you have full chance to spot some wild animal like wild ass, blue sheep, argali or marmots. Once you reach to Tsokar visit the Thukjay Gonpa and its cave of Avalokiteshvara. Tsokar only Salt Lake in Ladakh, here you can spot different kinds of birds.

DAY 13: TSOKAR – POLO KONGKA LA - PUGA - TSOM0RIRI.
After breakfast drive to Polokongka la (4920M) and then going down towards Puga. The school for nomadic children in Puga is run by J & K govt. Hot spring is very famous among the Ladakhi and believed to be cure many diseases. In this valley there are lots sulfure mines. After that you will reach a Tibetan village called Sumdo. Another two-hour drive to Tsomoriri with the pass Namsang la (4850m). Visit the Korzok Monastery and then to go view point to enjoy the beauty of the lake during the sunset.

DAY 14: TSOMORIRI – CHUMATHANG – LEH.
Tsomoriri Lake (4550m) is one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes, situated in the middle of the elevated valley of Rupshu surrounded by many high peaks. Before leaving for Leh, we take a short walk on the shore of the lake to enjoy this splendid place. The long drive back to Leh gives tremendous opportunities for photography. We pass through many villages. Picnic stop at Chumathang and visit of the hot spring.

DAY 15: LEH – FLIGHT TO DELHI – DRIVE TO AGRA
In the Morning after breakfast you will be transfer to Leh Airport to take a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will be drive to AGRA in the state of Uttar Pradesh. During the drive from Delhi to Agra, you can enhance your experience by enjoying everything that lies on the way.
Overnight at hotel in AGRA.

🚍 Route: 4/5 hours /240 km 🍽 Meals: Breakfast/lunch/dinner. ⛰ Altitude: 350 m.

DAY 16: TAH MAHAL -DELHI – FLIGHT - FRANCE
Before breakfast, we will take advantage of the sunrise lights to visit the TAJ MAHAL. It's the perfect time to appreciate this world-famous masterpiece. It was built at the request of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his wife Mumtaz.
Renowned for its perfection and harmony, symmetry and aesthetics. Together we will discover one of the Seven Wonders of the World and one of the greatest architectural gems of Indo-Muslim art. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, we will discover the Agra Fort, built of red sandstone by the Mughal emperors. We will then drive back to Delhi Airport. Return flight to France.

Kharnak and Rupshu is homeland of the Changpas nomads is a high altitude plateau known as the Changtang.Also rich in biodiversity and you will enjoy the rare opportunity of viewing some of Ladakh wild flora and fauna, apart from the changing high-altitude landscape. The trails are decorated by elaborate "Chortens"(Stupas) and "Mani"(prayer) walls that further exemplify the region's total immersion in Buddhist culture.
