DAY 1: FLIGHT FRANCE DELHI
Flight to Delhi. You will be greeted on arrival by one of our representatives and then transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2: DELHI – LEH.
Morning flight for Leh from Delhi. On arrival at Leh you will be greeted by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. Spend the day in the hotel for rest and acclimatization. This is very necessary for getting acclimatized at high altitude. Evening one can visit market of Leh.

DAY 3: LEH – SPITUK -STOK – MATHO.
The first steps towards the philosophy Buddhist. Today we are going to visit some beautiful monasteries in the Indus valley, start our visit from Spituk monastery than to Stok Palace and the last we will the monastery of Matho and back to Leh
The Spituk Gompa was founded in 11th century by Od-De, the elder brother of Lama Changchub-od. The Gompa was named Spituk (exemplary) by Rinchen Zangpo; a translator came to that place and said that exemplary religious community would rise. Initially the Gompa was run according to the Kadampa School then during the reign of King Tagspa Bumldey he converted it to Geluk Pa order.
Stok Place, the current residence of the king of Ladakh. (Namgyail dynasty of Ladakh) which built in 18th century. Converted into a museum and heritage hotel.
Matho monastery was founded in 1410 century by Lama Tungpa Dorjey. The significance of this monastery lies in it being the only one that belongs to the Sakyapa order of Tibetan Buddhism in Ladakh One of the main attractions of Matho Gompa of Leh Ladakh is Matho Nagrang Festival. Which is held on 14th and 15th day of the 1st Tibetan calendar. During this festival, two oracles, known as "Rongtsan", are said to inhabit for a few hours the body of two monks.

DAY 4: LEH – SHEY – THIKSAY – HEMIS.
Visit of ancient monasteries of Indus valley. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery in Ladakh. It was founded in 1633 by the king Singay Namgyal and Lama Staktsang Raspa of Bhutan. Hemis belongs to the Drukpa Kagyu order. Thiksey is one of the most beautiful monastery of Ladakh, it is known as ‘the mini Potala’. It belongs to the Gelukpa order. The monastery was founded by Lama Paldan Sheyrab the nephew of Sheyrab Zangpo in mid-15th century.
Shey used to be the ancient capital of Ladakh. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of the 17th century. Its 12m Buddha statue made of copper guilt was built by King Deldan Namgyal in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal.

DAY 5: - LEH – KHARDONG LA - DISKET.
In the morning, departure for Nubra Valley also known as the Valley of Flowers, the warmest region in Ladakh. To reach it we have to cross the Khardung La (5602m). This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges. Visit of Disket Monastery and the impressive Maitreya statue. The monastery was founded by Lama Changsem Sherap Zangpo, a disciple of Tsongkhapa ( founder of the Gelukpa lineage), in the 14th century. It is the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery of the Nubra Valley. Overnight stay in Hundar.

.DAY 6: -DISKET – PANAMIK – ANSA – SAMSTANLING- DESKIT.
In the morning after breakfast going to visit the famous Nubra Valley, the northern most part of India. A beautiful valley were oases, small lakes grey sand dunes. very exotic. We will pass through many small villages to go to Samstanling monastery which we will visit.
Samstanling Monastery, ‘Sanctuary of meditative concentration. It is the second largest gompa in the Nubra Valley. It is a recent institution, established in 1833 by Lama Tsultim Nima. Samstanling is dedicated to the Gelukpa school of Tibetan Buddhism and famous for its strict discipline. Approximately 55 monks reside there under the spiritual guidance of Sras Rinpoche, the current supreme head of Gelukpa School. The monastery has as many as seven temples which were inaugurated by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in 1962
Then, we will climb up to the small 250-year-old monastery of Ensa. We will spand more time in meditation in this atypical and peaceful place. We will go to the hot springs of Panamik (swimming possible) passing through the village of Pulthang. Return at the end of the day to our hotel in Disket.

DAY 7: -DISKET – SAKTI - PAR LA ROUTE WARI LA
After breakfast, drive to Sakti via the Warila La Pass. Once at the top, those who wish to hang prayer flags will once again able to do. The descent gives the impression of plunging into the clouds. Upon the arrival at Sakti we are going to visit Takthok Monastery.
It is the only monastery belonging to the Nyingmapa School of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery came into existence when Guru Padma Sambhava, the great Indian master visited this place and blessed during the 8th century. The name Takthok, literally meaning 'rock-roof'. The monastery was founded by Mahasiddha Kunga Phunstog and introduced monastic community around the mid-16th century during the reign of Tsewang Namgyail. It has been built on a mountainside around the cave in which Padmasambhava is said to have meditated in the 8th century.

DAY 8: -SAKTI – PANGONG LAKE.
After an early breakfast proceed to Pangong via Chang La Pass (5333m) considered to be the 3rd highest motorable road of the world. Pangong Lake is a salt water body of 120 km in length and 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China (2/3 of the lake is in Tibet's possession). Enjoy the walk outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake (4590m) with its glory.

DAY 9: -PANGONG – CHANG LA – LEH
Before leaving for Leh another one hour walk on the shore of the lake to enjoy this sumptuous place. Short halt at Chang La Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea.

DAY 10: - LEH – UPSHI – CHUMATHANG- TSOMORIRI.
The long drive from Leh to Tsomoriri gives us tremendous opportunities for photography. We pass through many typical Ladakhi villages. One stop at Chumathang for the picnic and to visit the Hot water springs. After check-in at Tsomoriri fix camp, visit the small Korzok monastery and spend the evening at the banks of the lake. Tsomoriri Lake (4550M) is one of the most beautiful high altitude lakes, situated in the middle of the elevated valley of Rupshu surrounded by many high peaks.

DAY 11: - TSOMORIRI –POLO KONGKA LA -PUGA-THUKJAY –TSOKAR-TAGLANGLA LA-LEH.
Before leaving for Leh another small walk on the shore of the lake to enjoy this splendid place. Stop on the way to visit a school for nomadic children in Puga is run by U.T Ladakh govt. Hot spring is very famous among the Ladakhi and believed to be cure many diseases. In this valley you can see lots sulphur mines. Drive to Polokongka La (4950m) and then going down towards Thukjay to visit the monastery. In this valley, you might see wild animal like wild ass, blue ship, argali, and marmots.
Departure for Leh crossing the Taglang La (5328m). Tanglang La pass is like a jewel in the crown on the Manali – Leh stretch, it is claimed to be the second highest motorable mountain pass on the planet. Short halt at the pass to enjoy the beauty of the breathtaking landscape. Reach Upshi in the late afternoon. The village is located along the Indus River, 45 km southeast of Leh.

DAY12: - LEH – LAMAYURU - KARGIL,
After breakfast, sightseeing on the Leh – Srinagar Highway. Visit of the Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (sikh temple built and maintained by the Indian Army). Proceed further along on the Leh-Srinagar highway pass by the Indus- Zanskar confluence. A brief halt at Lamayuru to visit the ancient fort perched on the hill on right-hand side of the road.
Lamayuru is the oldest monastery belongs to the red hat sect of Digungpa order of Tibetan Buddhism. The history of the monastery begins with the visit of Arahat Nimagung to this place, when there was merely a lake here. It is said that Arahat made a prophecy that "a monastery will come up at this spot". Thereafter, Mahasiddha Naropa (1016–1100) the great translator Rinchen Zangpo (958–1055) visited the place.
Proceed to Kargil via Foto la 3900m and then Namkila 4100m .Before reaching kargil around 45km we will visit of Mulbekh Monastery.

DAY 13: - KARGIL-PANIKHAR-RANGDUM
From Kargil, the road isvery good for 6 5km. On the way we pass through the Suru Valley and many Muslims villages like, Shakar, Parkachik and Punisher. Before reaching the Panikhar, at Thangbu village, we can have an incredible photographic view of Nun (7135 m) and Kun (7080m) mountains
The landscape is beautiful, high mountains, green oases, small mosques and diverse populations, Dardes, Baltis and Pathan.Upon the arrival at Rangdun after checkin going to visit rangdum manostery.
Rangdum Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery belonging to the Gelukpa order, situated on top of a small but steep sugarloaf hill at an altitude of 4,031M. According to an inscription the monastery was built by Gelek Ishay Takpa during the reign of King Tsewang Namgyail of Ladakh about 200 years ago. The monastery is home to about 30 monks and the Ngari Rinpoche Stenzin Choegyal the younger brother of the H.H. Dalai Lama is the supreme head of the monastery.

.DAY14: -RANGDUM-PANZI LA 4400M-PADUM
After the first bends that lead to the pass, you will discover a beautiful high mountain landscape on the right. At the 4400M pass (penzi la) we discover pretty lakes, ideal place for the little pose among the marmots. As you begin the descent into the Doda Valley, you can see the imposing Durang-Durung glacier on the right.
It's a long way to Padum.We pass through several Zanskaris villages. Arrival at the end of the day in Padum

DAY 15: - PADUM-STONGDAY-ZANGLA-PADUM
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing on the other side of the Zanskar River. Visit the Stongday Monastery, old castle of Zangla and Nunnery Zangla then back to Padum. In the evening, visit of Pipiting Monastery.
Stongday monastery is the second largest monastic institution in Zanskar. The monastery was founded in 1052 by renowned Lama Marpa and it is also known as Marpaling Monastery. Lama Gyal Stanba Lundup Spalzangpo introduced the Gelukpa order of the Tibetan Buddhism approximately four centuries after its establishment. There are many beautiful shrines to be visit in the monastery.
Zangla Castle is localed in the ancient capital of Zanskar Kingdom is approximately 35 km from Padum. The old castle of Zangla was once house of the royal family is now in ruins. Only remains the small chapel overlooking the quiet valley.

DAY16: -KARSHA-BARDAN-MUNE-PADUM
Early in the morning before Breakfast visit Karsha monastery and Karsha nunnery for Morning PUJA. Karsha Monastery is the biggest, richest and most important monastery in all Zanskar. Phagspa Sheyrab, the great translator of Zanskar, founded this monastery during the 11th century. The monastery, as it stands today, was the result of the efforts of the Lama Dorjey Sheyrab.
The nunnery Karsha Chuchikjall Kachod Grubling is situated high above the village is the largest in Zanskar with 28 nuns in the assembly - 20 currently residing there, while the rest are doing advanced studies in other parts of India.
After breakfast, take the road to the Lungnak valley. Visit of Bardan monastery, Mune Monastery and Raru village. Then back to Padum.
The Mune monastery also known as Disketling, which was founded by the Lama Sheyrab Zangpo in 15th century. About 25 monks are residing in the monastery. There are many secret Shrine and relics to see, the monastery belongs to the Gelukpa school of Tibetan Buddhism.

DAY 17: - PADUM-SANI-RANGDUM
After breakfast we begin our safari toward Rangdum. Stop on the way to visit Sani Monastery. Crossing the Doda River at Tungri, we will drive along the right bank of River. Between Padum and Aksho, we will come across the small villages of Dhungri, Phey and Hamuling. We are slowly leaving the Zanskar valley behind us and Drang Drung Glacier beside the Penzi La. In the middle of the valley, we can see Rangdum monastery situated on a rock hill.
Sani Monastery is the branch of the Drukpa Kagyu School. The monastery was laid in the 2nd century during the reign of the great Kushan king, Kanishka. This belief finds strength from the presence of the Kanishka Stupa which still stands in the backyard of the Sani Monastery complex. It is further believed that Sani is one of the eight holy Buddhist site in the world which was the reason why the eminent personalities associated with the Himalayan Buddhism like , Naropa and Marpa all paid a visit to Sani.

DAY 18: - RANGDUM - KARGIL
Departure for Kargil another district of Ladakh. On the way we pass through the Suru Valley and many Muslims villages like, Shakar, Parkachik and Punisher. DAY19: - KARGIL- MULBEKH - LAMAYURU – LEH.
After an early breakfast, visit of Mulbekh Monastery and then proceed to Lamayuru via Namika La (4100m) and then Foto La (3900m). Another 120Km to come back to Leh.

Traditionally, the creation of the Mangyu Monastery is attributed to the famous scholar-translator Lama Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo (958–1055) in the 11th century, along with the Lamayuru Monastery, Wanla, Sumda Chun and the famous Alchi monastery. Monastery is also constructed on flat like Alchi and Tabo monastery in Spiti. The monastery comprises of four temples.

DAY 20 : LEH – FLIGHT TO DELHI – DRIVE TO AGRA
In the Morning after breakfast you will be transfer to Leh Airport to take a flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be drive to AGRA in the state of Uttar Pradesh. During the drive from Delhi to Agra, you can enhance your experience by enjoying everything that lies on the way.
Overnight at hotel in AGRA.

DAY 21 : TAH MAHAL -DELHI – FLIGHT - FRANCE
Before breakfast, we will take advantage of the sunrise lights to visit the TAJ MAHAL. It's the perfect time to appreciate this world-famous masterpiece. It was built at the request of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to immortalize his love for his wife Mumtaz.
Renowned for its perfection and harmony, symmetry and aesthetics. Together we will discover one of the Seven Wonders of the World and one of the greatest architectural gems of Indo-Muslim art. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, we will discover the Agra Fort, built of red sandstone by the Mughal emperors. We will then drive back to Delhi Airport. Return flight to France.
